Signing up Parents in Seesaw & Helpful Parent Features

There are a few features in Seesaw that are priceless when it comes to opening up lines of communication with our student's parents.  Parents can download the Family App for free on their personal devices.

To sign up parents use one of these methods.

1. If you turn on Parent access in your classes settings, parents can see the work that their students (only their child, they cannot see other students work) are turning in.  This helps you focus the conversation on what students are able to do and comprehend in your class as opposed to a grade that doesn't have any meaning to it without explanation.
2. Instant translation into 55 other languages
   1. When parents set up their family account, one of the steps is choosing their native language.  This simple step allows any comments or written content to be translated for the parents when they use their Family app or account.
